UK may seek Iranian help in finding Iraqi hostages

The group that kidnapped five Britons has not left Baghdad, according to Iraqi police officials. The prime suspect, the Mehdi Army, has not acknowledged that they are holding the individuals (Most Newspapers). Many foreign advisors may now leave the country (The Times).

NCF comment - All kidnappings in Iraq are conducted by the Iraq Police Force. The question is which militia unit extant within the police force conducted the action - Badr Brigade or Saqr Brigade being those who do most of this.
