Mass sit-in protesting at closure of Radio Bethlehem

Palestinian Journalists stage mass sit in in protest against the Israeli closure of Radio Bethlehem 2000 and confiscation of broadcasting equipment.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate called on Friday for solidarity with a mass sit-in planned for Sunday the 31st of August. The journalists are protesting against the closure by Israeli soldiers of Radio Bethlehem 2000 on the 25th August.

Reporters without borders criticised the action saying that "“The summary closure of an independent Palestinian radio station and the arbitrary seizure of its equipment constitute outright censorship"

Unbelievable really. What did Radio Bethlehem do to provoke such Israeli ire?
